What can a Consul do?

If you are NOT resident in Argentina, please consider cancelling or rescheduling your trip as all flights between Argentina and Europe will be cancelled as from March, Tuesday 17th until further notice.

For further enquiries, you can contact the Migrations Office in Argentina:

Phone: 00 54 11 4317 0200 / 0234

Due to the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19), Immigrations Office in Argentina (Dirección Nacional de Migraciones) has instructed this Consulate in London the suspension of the processing and issuing of all categories of visas. PLEASE, CONSIDER ALL APPOINTMENTS FOR VISAS CANCELLED. This measure will be effective until further notice, as instructed by the Argentine Government.

We apologise for the inconvenient and hope this can be solved in the near future.

Due to the amount of public demand on a daily basis, we are trying to reduce, as much as possible and where circumstances so require, the number of people attending our offices, only proceeding with urgent cases and rescheduling other appointments, particularly those involving persons included in high-risk groups.

In accordance with suggestions given by the local health authorities (NHS), if you present symptoms (cough, flu, difficulty to breathe), have been in the last 14 days to a country or area with high risk of coronavirus, or have been in close contact with someone with coronavirus, we appreciate you do not come to the Consulate and that you call the emergency line service at 111.

The Argentine Government has provided updated information about protocols and recommendations in Spanish:
